I dunno Jules, I definitely rinsed it off in the pool water, hehe. I only had it on the tips of my fingers though. The pool is looking good. THe baby pool pump definitly sprung a leak today so that should be interesting for the enxt month. *sigh* My new raise is helping me be able to go to work everyday. Especially today since I was supposed to have the day off. I figured out I should be able to make another grand before I leave=)
The Karate Kid may just be my favorite movie. Say what you want about "good movies" but this one is a classic. I'm watching it now for the umpteenth time. So, here are some quotes as I watch:

It's so mean with the guys set Daniel-san up to get kicked out of soccer tryouts:( He handles a mean ball;)

I'm 68% pure....weak. Too bad "making out with a father" isn't on there. I could call up *Goal* and get working. So, I've said too much. Work tomorrow 11-5...Work Friday...Work Sat...Work Sunday...That should be an ok day bc we have someone new: Flo. She's a friend of Ali's and she's cool. We can listen to Blur all day, awoohoo!

Today I got paid for swim team and also got a raise-wooooohooooo!

Let's see. Thoughts...I'm too tired for thoughts.
~Today this gross girl and her gross boyfriend were in the pool and let's just say a few *Hand Checks* would have helped out. It was nasty. When not in the pool (ew) they sat on the grass with a towel over their heads and he definitely let out a few grunts and other weird noises. Oh gawd, I felt dirty.
~Bubbles are really cool. Ali and I have the bubbles that stay longer than normal ones and they are so cool. I like weddings with bubbles. I don't understand weddings and paying zillions of dollars on flowers. The bouquets and such are understandable but why do you need table centerpieces? All eyes better be on me, not the center of the table. If anything the center of the table can have a picture of me or something-ha.
~Crossword puzzles....not for nerds. I love them. I don't even care if I don't finish them. And I'm such a rebel-I use pen.
~What exactly is soda ash? And is it really bad that I touched it while putting it in the pool. The bottles of HCl scare me though. I remember (small parts) of Organic Chem. Oh gawd, that was such a horrible class. I remember my lab group started out as me and these 3 other girls who were a few years older. And then the one dropped out and then the other. And then in the second semester of it the girl Katrina who was really cool dropped out. That's when I knew it was hopeless. That was such a hard class. The labs were so freaking annoying. Horrible memories of the set ups alone. EW. Stop.
~I'm going to sell powder chlorine on the black market. I bet sniffing it would give a nice little high. I'm not up for trying it though. I've lost enough brain cells from the stuff.

Its raining, its pouring....the pool wont be opening today. UPS just dropped off a package, OOPS-not for us. Dammit. We didn't have practice this morning and no work today-whatever shall I do with myself? My mom wants me to clean up, ew. I also have to talk to her about this apt deal. We were planning on going down there Monday to check out places and hopefully get something. But now, I dont know. If I already had a job down there and knew how much money I could make a month this would be easier. Ok, more later........I have to get up to date of some Trail News.

I talked to Cara tonite, she gave me a good apt lead. I'm considering trying to get this 2 bedroom place and then working on the roommate...I mean, there are always people looking for a place, right? RIGHT?

Second to last swim meet was tonite, it went well.

No practice tomorrow bc we're super shocking the pool and they have to super vacuum it tomorrow morning, sweet.

The roles are reversed and it sucks.

I hope whoever I live with is as good a roommate as Cara was=)

Today was long. And not too much fun. Practice in the morning then worked til about 2 then went to the dentist. New dentist, they were nice though. The actual dentist guy was new and for some reason that made me really happy that some newbie got a job. Yay for him. He was good too. Except he didn't know how to operate the chair, haha. So I was all the way lying down and he went to raise it back up and the hygienist was like "uh, I've got it!" Hehehe. I have to get my wisdom teeth out.
Got back to work at like 5 (had to wait for the Al-ster) and that's when I was getting annoyed. In case someone hasn't already read: our pool sucks at the moment. It was green for about a week and closed and our manager has been "let go". Now it seems like everyone has a solution or an opinion. Well, you know what? I dont care what these people think. And you know what? Don't act like we don't do anything-if these people were there all day long then they could say things aren't getting done but there is no way we can work constantly in that heat. So calm down everyone. I'm just irritated for a bunch of reasons that some of which are kinda petty so I won't get into them all here.

One thing I want to say is that the end of August, beginning of September is going to be THE GREATEST WEEK OR SO OF MY LIFE! Unless of course I end up commuting to effing Richmond. By the way, I NEED A ROOMMATE!

Our pool is still green and Ali and I spent about 9 hours there today cleaning it up. Between vacuuming, brushing, and hosing down stuff we also had time for a little light saber fight and some floating in the baby pool. There's nothing like seeing a 22 year old in a pink intertube in the baby pool. Or Ali on a raft reading Cosmo. And yes, the President of the Board drove up while we were in there. Well, Ali was....I was off answering one of the 54832098320948329432 phone calls we got today. Anyway..
Ghostbusters is a great movie. I am watching it right now. Watched The Royal Tenenbaums last nite. And Coyote Ugly, hehe. More later.

Ali and I had a day on the town, er Fredericksburg, today. I had to go to the bank then we had lunch at Ruby Tuesdays, bought stuff at Best Buy, Burlington Coat Factory and the Blue Dog. Then watched The Bourne Identity (sorry Jules but I reealllllllllly liked it, more on that later). Then we went to Target and Borders. Whew.
The pool had some weird algae problem today, so weird. I totally called it though, this crackhead woman was like "It looks like mud!" Ok, not so much. But yeah, the pool closed at 4 so they could shock it so there was no practice. But now Ali and I have to get there early (like 8AM, ew) tomorrow to vacuum and mow the grass, bust.

I need to vent, and this is going to be the place:
Ok, my day was going fine until about 8:15 when the Board meeting at the pool had been going on for about an hour and the big kids were having their practice. I dont know why but everyone was talking so freaking much and it was driving me crazy. I understand noone is going to sit and wait for their turn to swim quietly but ohmygawd there is NO need to practice handstands! and how many times do I have to yell "GET OFF OF THE ROPES" to 12 year olds before they stop doing it? Apparently, a lot. So I was nice and had them do a tredding water contest. And this is when one of the Board members comes over to ask me a question about the food being ordered, which by the way I don't mind ordering but I don't know if it already has, erg! So when I finished talking to her I turn back around to find like 5 swimmers either on the rope or dunking people. AHHHHH! So I attempted to give them a stern "DONT TOUCH THE ROPES!" then we did the contest. Which went ok... Then I said we should do a relay for the last 10 minutes of practice. And I let them have captains and choose their own teams. But "You take lane 3" and "YOU take lane 4" doesn't seem to register with some kids. I just don't understand sometimes if people think. So that was all annoying and it doesn't help that I have no assistant coach who can be prepping one side while I get the other one ready. *sigh* I mean *scream*. So we did that and basically the talking was pushing me over the edge. Some kids just don't know when to be quiet. Like, when I am talking to someone else and they interrupt I can't stand it. And then the Board (aka Satan and her demons) asks me when I am working tomorrow and if I can order the food. Like I said, Yes, I can but I don't know if it has been already...AHHHH! By this point I'm ready to scream and jump int he pool and breathe in some water, but I resisted. Which I shouldnt' have done because everyone kept talking and maybe the problem is that I'm burned out at the pool because I am there for 12 hours at a time, I don't know. Then the Board puts up a note to me and Dale (the manager) and it says:
1) Vacuum baby pool tomorrow, FIRST THING! (Ok, I'd love to and I attempted to do that on Sunday but the damned thing is broken and if you'd hire a competant pool guy we wouldn't have a disfunctioning pool....See, the Board knows nothing about pools, they just react to what they see and hear)
2) Order the food tomorrow! (One more time "I DONT KNOW IF DALE DID ALREADY!")
3) Empty skimmer buckets daily (Too bad Courtney and I did empty them today. And it's not my fault everyone is so damn lazy. I cleaned out the hair skimmer today and it was DISGUSTING! I should have put that in someone's car....And doens't ANYONE ever backwash besides me?)
4) No tabs, ever. (whatever, I didn't let anyone have a tab.

So, if anyone from the pool happens to read this, oops;) I'm just really annoyed and I take comments about my performance very seriously......so, Don't mess with me.

Even though I blog the most I have decided I need to blog more. Maybe more for myself than any of you jokers. Our meet last nite went very well. It's such a bust that we dont have more people bc we honestly could have won last nite. Three people in each event score but in a few we only have 2 which is NOT helping. This was our one chance (in like 3 years) *sigh*. Oh well, we were all excited to have gotten so many points. Go team! Our LAST regular meet is next Tuesday, I'm sorta sad. I'm definitely sick of being at the pool every waking hour (except this one;) but I love meets and making relays and all that jazz. I also like to spoil Ali and make her my favorite, man she gets away with anything, hehe. I was deciding awards earlier, I have to turn in the trophy order soon. I hope we have enough money for everyone to get one.
On Monday I bought A Knight's Tale (HOT! as Rena would say) and Rock and Roll High School. Along with some Mozart, Tchaikovsky, and Verdi. I am officially a music NERD! Ali and I watched A Knight's Tale yesterday (I had seen it before, she had not). I really like that movie. It's not "Good" as some snobby people would say but it's damn entertaining....and well.....Heath Ledger IS hot. Today we watched Ali's newly purchased DVD Me, Myself and Irene which is so effing funny. One of, if not the best, Jimy Carrey movie. HAHAH! Then we started to watch Gladiator bc Ali had never finished it but then my mom got home so Ali went to her room and I worked on swim team stuff......which is basically all I do.
And that's all. I am *not* going to see Coheed and Cambria tonite:( Vanessa and Anna both had to work late, bust. And I would totally fall asleep if I tried to go alone. It's ok though, I am looking forward to Count Me Out on Saturday.
PAY DAY TOMORROW! By the way, it SHOULD be spelled p-a-y-e-d.....if you think about it. And "BUSED" what the hell kind of word is that? I hate it, I always read it with a long "U" sound and get confused then have to reread it. Dispicable! (how is that spelled? man, 2 months out of school and can we say STRUGGLE??!!?!?!!)

This snot-nosed little brat at the pool stole my expensive goggles and we had a sting operation to get them back. Yesterday Dale asked her if they were her's and she said "My dad got them at Wal-Mart" oh nono, first mistake little girl-Wal Mart doesn't sell those kinds. Then Dale interrogated her some more and eventually told her she thought she was lying. Then today, as I've been told second handedly, Jenn and Courtney asked her about them and had a conversation something like this:

C+J- Where did you get them from?
Stupid Girl- My dad
C+J- Are you sure?
Stupid Girl- Uhhhh

What is wrong with me and why do I keep going to sleep so early? It's only 11PM and I can barely function. Bust. I'm talking with Cindy and Rena though, woohoo! I miss them both terribly. I don't feel like finishing up the 4th of July summary....basically Edenpark played a really long set and it was a lot of fun and everyone liked it. They sang about the 4th of July and Apex being emo which was funny. They did a little Bin Laden/ Bush skit which involved the trampoline, haha. I can't wait to get the pictures back. The fireworks were good too. I was sad when everyone left. I got hugs from EVERYONE which was very important. I'm turning into a Hugger which is unnerving, my mom used to yell at me bc I didn't give good hugs.Interesting. I still need to work on it, I have a few people in mind, muahha!
This Week:
Monday- Swim Practice 9-11:30AM and 7-9PM other than that I have nothing
Tuesday- Swim Practice 9-11:30 AM and then the meet against the country club at about 6, but I have to be there at 4:30
Wednesday- Maybe no practice, we'll see and then Coheed and Cambria at the Ottobard that nite

Thanks to everyone who came to my house last nite for 4th of July. I had a great time and I hope everyone else did too:) Let's see, here's a summary:
It was very very very very very very hot. I got back from staying at Vanessa's apt in Fredericksburg with some of the band guys at abou 1 and helped set up. Then I escaped to my room. I think our first guests arrived at about 4 and more and more from 5 to 6. I think Edenpark and Vanessa got there at about 5 maybe...I can't remember. Basically we all escaped the heat and sat around in the den downstairs. Then they set up and we ate a lot of food and Vanessa and Pat got drunk, hehe. Then at 7ish Edenpark played and were awesome!!! They played a really long set and were super entertaining....but not as entertaining as the old guy who danced. We also had some fireworks to go along with the music. Oh wait, I just saw that it says "Sorry, publishing is temporarliy unavaible" so I am going to stop and finish later so I don't lose anything....

Today is super hot, thank goodness I am not working. Actually NOONE is working at the pool bc the water is cloudy white-not good. There has to be a problem with the chlorine getting to the pool. Because after we shock on Saturdays it steadily goes down even though we have the chlorinator all the way up. So weird. Practice went so-so. The high school coach was there and I just had her go thru her zillion drills bc otherwise I feel like she's thinking to herself "hmm, this is a bad practice" I hate that. But I had said "half drills then lets do swimming" but noooooooo she had them do over an hour of drills. I think they all hate me for it. I worked with the 6 and unders though, tehe. The meet last nite was ok, SO HOT. we got more points than we usually do which was great.
Party tomorrow. It's going to be hot as balls. I might bc going to DC tonite and fred .....we'll see.
