La la la...Not much to do today until about 6:30pm when I have a meeting. It's raining, stores are too far away. I want to take Ali to Canada sometime, I have a feeling my mom wouldn't let me take her out of the country, but we'll see.

So the pool isn't opening until effing Saturday. I'm royally pissed bc I already took this week off down in Richmond. And I can't un-take it off bc I told them it was because I had a class...which is half true.
Does anyone want to do something this week? Spirits? I haven't been there in quite awhile. And I'm in one of those "moods"...I hate doing laundry. Why is it that washing clothes is so much quicker than drying them? It would be so much better to just go down there once to transfer the wet to the drier and take the dry ones out. but nooooo.

I just got back from rehearsing with Ali's orchestra class for the concert tomorrow..Here is a funny moment as I was leaving:
I realized I had dropped my Visitor's Pass so when I went to the office to sign out I said, "Um, I dropped my Visitor's Pass" and the office lady, very rudely, said, "Why did we give YOU a Visitor's Pass?" as she was getting ready to sign one of the passes students get when they are late to school. And I said, "I was rehearsing with the orchestra" and then I think she realized I was NOT a high school student and signed me out. I realize I may not look 23 at times, but come on-18??!?!?

I'm practicing more for the LHS Orchestra concert than I did for my Senior Recital...more than I did for Carnegie Hall. But it's like going full circle back to my clarinet beginnings. Maybe that's an exageration but still, I love Mr. Sims!
I'm a little peeved because I know now what happened on the Dawson's Creek series finale and I have not seen it yet. Humph....But it's what I wanted to happen so at least now I can watch it without yelling at them or something;)

5:30am shifts mess me up for the whole day. Last nite I went to sleep at 11pm which means I got 5 hours but I'm soooo exhausted today. I didn't feel good today, well, I was coughing. I kept losing my voice, haha. This old guy started talking to me and it turns out he was an architect and designed a bunch of buildings in Bealeton and Warrenton. Crazy. He told me a joke but I didn't get it. I laughed anyway.
Next Thursday is my big performance with the LHS CHamber Orchestra. I'm playing the clarinet solo part for the Prince of Egypt (hardest word ever) arrangement in the concert. I'm very excited, I think I'm going to practice with them next Wed and maybe even Thursday which should be fun because I can see all my high school friends. Oh and Mr. Sims-I LOVE him!
I'm kind of hungry. But I don't feel like making anything, I just want something to appear.

Yes Robert, the Friday Five is lame but I chose not to publicly display my grades, hehe. Mostly bc I don't know what they are bc I never check them. I don't like to know. I'll talk all day about my high school GPA though, haha. Yay for high school!

1. Would you consider yourself an organized person? Why or why not? I am but I have to have "supplies" such as shelves and drawers for things in my room (I have a lack of that right now) and good pens and stuff. Haha, good pens. I love organizing stuff like swim team records and my cds. Man, I'm having issues thinking at the moment.

2. Do you keep some type of planner, organizer, calendar, etc. with you, and do you use it regularly? Yes I have a monthly planner thing and I have to write EVERYTHING in it. I even highlight important things like tests and crap. Sometimes I just have to look at it to get a feel about the upcoming months. Oh and I hate to cross off days that were really good, like my birthday and the Foo Fighters show, hehe. And I also have to use the same color pen....Maybe I'm more OCD than organized=/ Ha, jk

I had the best time at work today with my boss, Leigh Anne. She's like 28 but she cracks me up with her comments on everything. Today she went and got us Chik-fil-a, YUM which totally made my day and then we talked about the kind of guys we like and tried to decide who was hot who was swimming, ha. Too bad the majority of people who swim there seem to be old men and women. And about this: I am no longer afriad of people drowning, I am afraid of someone having a heart attack. Today, some lady leaned over the ladder to stretch but at first I thought she was going to die but then I realized she was stretching. Oh, and don't get me started on water aerobics....They use these flotation belts and I'm just waiting for the day one loses his/her balance and goes face down. Scary stuff. I don't want to have to save an old person!

I have this candy bar and well...It's huge! So big the serving size is 1/3 of it, insane. Since I'm such a nutritional whiz I'm going to check out what it has in it: Actually, the sodium content isn't too bad...no Vit A (hmm, night vision is necessary and I haven't had carrots in awhile), no Vit C (but I drink orange juice like it's going out of style)...Calcium 2% (niiiiice, haha)...Fiber 1g (yay! no cancer for me!)...riboflavin 2% (yay FAD)...So, even though there's about 24g of fat in this mofo, I'm making up for it in these essential vitamins and minerals. Oh and also the fact that I didn't eat that much today, just noodles corn and green beans, yum!
I've been playing my guitar a lot lately, which is awesome. Besides the whole lack of memory thing, my left hand does well. My mobility isn't the greatest but I don't expect it to be because I don't play that much. But my right hand (hello, dominant!) struggles....It doesn't like to strum. I actually think its because I don't want to be too loud in my *learning so I suck* stage.
Ok, update: I have set the second half of the candy bar aside due to sugar overload. I will attack the rest later, perhaps when I get home after hanging out with my RVAers. Haha, looks like I mispelled RAVERS, harharhar.
It's almost cinco de mayo, aka my 3rd birthday of the year...

You're all going to think I'm crazy but....I'm getting another blog. Now, before you commit me to the looney bin, let me explain why: The Foo Fighters special group thingy I'm in is starting a FF Blog Ring and well, I want in on the action. Mmmm, any sentence with both "Foo Fighters" and "action" in it is a winner in my opinion, haha. ANYWAY, This new blog, whose link I'll post later, will just be me talking about them I guess and my experiences or something lame. I just want in on the action (mmm action).
Oh and for those of you who don't know, Vanessa and I got into the secret Foo Fighters show last nite at the Black Cat in DC. It was the most amazing nite I've had in a long time and it ranks up there for all time. John from their record label is my new best friend, thanks so much for the tickets:) I was talking to Jules and saying how I dont really have the good luck with things and she's like, "Oh I think you do" haha, and I thought about it and then said, "Ok, I have the good luck with meeting bands and such and being in the right place and time, I don't have the lottery ticket, concert ticket winning luck" haha. And at this time I would like to point out my good luck and blatantly show off, ha:
~I have in my posession 2 Dave Grohl guitar picks, his water (hey, they threw it at me and I caught it, ok?), *2* drum sticks that Dave and Taylor played with, Nate Mendel's autograph! I've seen them 4 times-Nissan Pavilion, (old) Black Cat, Patriot Center and then Black Cat again
~I saw the Smashing Pumpkins at the Patriot Center right before they broke up and I got to shake Billy Corgan's hand
~Vanessa and I got a ride in The Pavers RV and Josh said he'd, "Never forget someone named Scarlet Rose" haha
~I've seen Trail of Dead 8 times now, a few of those times Anna and I were on the guest list, we got to go to the after party in Philly at the Theatre Of The Living Arts, backstage at Club Laga in Pittsburgh, and I found Neil's ring at the last Black Cat show, not to mention the countless hugs, hehe. Oh and when they played at the 9:30 Club with QOTSA Conrad gave me a tequila shot.
~I've seen Hey Mercedes about 5 times? I've talked to Bob Nanna every time and he's adorable. Todd Bell gave me the set list at the Black Cat Show
~When Anna, Alyssa and I went to see a bunch of bands at U of R we accidently entered the backstage area and the bass player of New End Original offered us paella. hahahha
~I have a bunch of set lists too

I just took my 2nd exam of the day-Genetics. It was long and the chairs make my back and shoulder hurt a lot. But I think I did decently and did not fail which is lovely. Now I'm off to get my paycheck and then to go not do anything crazy:) But I think we all know me....MUAHHAHA.

This weekend:

Friday: work 5:30am-10am, sleep all day, not sure about nite but I have to go to sleep earlyish
Saturday- work 7am-11am, probably come back and sleep bc the morning kills me, Aaron mentioned hanging out but now I haven't talked to him so I don't know, I also need to watch how much I drive Wait, you know what? I work 10-3pm, oops
Sunday-I don't know my schedule yet so I might work and then I have to study for my Ornithology final that is on Monday. Oh but MONDAY, I should be going to Baltimore for a grand cinco de mayo celebracion!!!!!!!!!!!!
