I'm looking through the archives and collecting my favorite blogs from the past year. Wow, We really blog a lot! Especially in the beginning when it was me, Jules and Van. See, I bet you newbies didn't know that my home girl Vanessa used to blog here too. In fact, Jenn blogged once or twice two and we even had a while when guests could blog but that didnt' really catch on, oh well. It's kind of overwhelming going through all the blogs though so I'll have to finish later.
Man, tonite was so good! My mom made a great dinner of chicken burritos at my birthday request and then we had cake and ice cream and...PRESENTS! So, Ali gives me hers first and what is it? A TEXAS LICENSE PLATE! Oh.My.Gawd. She won't tell me how she got it but I was so excited my eyes started watering and I pretended like I didn't need any other presents, hehe. I haven't decided what to do with it, I feel like putting it on my wall isn't enough. My dad said, "Don't try to switch it with your VA ones" haha. I also got a new clarinet ligature I've wanted for awhile which should inspire me to play more. I really need to get "it" back-"it" being the ability to play. I also got some black and white film which is exciting and... a scanner! YAY! I knew I was getting that but I'm super excited to get it home and start scanning everything and eventually getting a webpage going or something. My crappy scanner broke awhile ago and I've missed having it=/ Oh, and did I mention my brother gave me a George Foreman grill last nite? SO COOL! Anyway, another great birthday:) A little embarassing when my blown out candles made enough smoke to hinder my vision though, ha.
Tomorrow Ali and I have a big shopping date, we're both so looking forward to it! It's hilarious because she hasn't had school all week and is going stir crazy from being stuck at home all week. She actually teared up and said she wanted to go back to school. I was almost worried.
