I forgot to get more allergy pills, not good. I have to work 2:30-7:00 and then tonite is our first swim practice. I hope it goes ok....I'm going to make Ali help, hehe. The first nite is always super stressful because everyone's really hyper and then there are all the new kids who can't do anything. hehe.
Baltimore was tons of fun, here's a review:
FRIDAY: Well, First of all I was up at 6AM to go sub all day at TWO schools then I worked at the pool from 3 til 7...It took me awhile to get out of town and I got to Van's at about 9 to pick her up and we got to Balty at about 10:30 or so? We went to Fell's Point that nite which is this area in Baltimore, for those who don't know, that has tons of bars and stuff. It's a really cool place bc it get's realyl crowded at nite which lots of people, and not just snobby Loyola type girls, all sorts of peeps. We hit up the Greene Turtle which has always been fond in my heart bc I went to the one in Ocean City with my mom last year:). At first I wasn't sure about the place bc it was really bright in there and everyone was just really drunk. But thanks to me (haha) we talked to a few people and Jules and I even danced with these two guys....HAHA. Van did a shot of Jager (sp?) and then she was gone but she had enough sense to say no to the 23 year old virgin who was celebrating his birthday...I did beat him in my lil' own chugging contest though. Poor guy. OH and there was this one girl there who was SO drunk she could barely stand up and she'd fall on anyone who would walk by. Well, one time she went to lean on someone and it didn't work out and she fell FLAT HER ON FACE! It was funny only bc you knew it didnt' hurt bc she was so wasted. We also got invitations to go to the "Nudie Bar" but we passed on that offer and instead headed back to our hotel bc we all had to get up early the next day.
SATURDAY: Got up early to get Julianne to her interview by 11. Then Vanessa and I got Wawa (mm) and then went back to Baltimore and just drove around for awhile which proved to be sort of disconcerting especially when we drove up this one street that had tons of people shoppping and walking IN THE STREET and we could barely get through, so weird. Then we went back to Crofton and hung out on a nearby school's playground until it was time for Jules to get back. Did I mention it was hot as a mofo!? OMG, I thought I was going to die. Ok, then we got our Orioles tickets, went back and rested/changed and at about 5 or so we head down to the Inner Harbor for some food. We ate at the River City Brewing Company (is that right? Or did I just make that up?) It was good, but the service was sorta sucky. We did talk to this father and son from Philly, ha. At 7 we were at the Orioles game which was a ton of fun-especially after the annoying people next to Vanessa left. I definitely called the game, I knew they'd win-People shouldnt give up on teams so quick! But yeah, Jay Gibbons is my new favorite Baseball player now. Not even the incredible stretching machine Ichiro Suzuki can beat Gibbons! After the game we went back to Fell's Point but were too tired to actually go in anywhere. So instead I went up to these firemen who were parked there and eventually Van and Jules came over and we chatted witht them for awhile. They were really nice. A bunch of drunk girls kept coming over though, ew. Two of them flashed their asses to them, so weird. Then we went back to the hotel because once again, we had to get up early the next day.
SUNDAY: We were out of Baltimore by 8:45AM...psycho. Julianne headed off to church with her potential employer and we actually had to have a "real" goodbye this time which was sad. But maybe she'll be back in the area sooner than we think. MUHAHA. But even if not, remind me to get a passport, haha, just let me know. =)
But now it's time for me to go pick up PICTURES! yYAYAYAY!
