Well, It looks like our NYC trip is happening. We actually followed thru on the crazy idea;) The good hotel deal and day off is helping immensely and I'm hoping that once we succeed in driving there that we can take many, many more trips there. And not just me and Jules but all of us! All are invited on future trips! Woohoo! So, my plan is to head home tomorrow to take advantage of the fam's food and warm quarters, head to Baltimore probably Sunday morning (Unless I decide to be crazy and go see Edenpark tomorrow nite) and then we're heading out at about 2PM....In NYC we plan on getting on TV, so be sure to watch (and tape!) the Today show and TRL, as well as Regis and Kelly and any other show taped in New York. We (Or I) have two goals for the MLK Day Trip: 1) Get on TV and 2) Spend little money. So I'm excited.
In other news, I'm being lame tonite and staying in on a Friday Nite. I had my options but I elected to finish my mix CDs, rest, and pack and stuff. Oh yeah, And not spend any money. But Chipotle on the way home is an exception I can make!
Jules, Even though it's insane, I really wish you lived around here because we'd have a lot of fun. You too Vanessa, Too bad Covance doesn't have a Richmond branch. This is so cute but Ali thought that Richmond was up near DC for awhile because of all of the signs around there like the "495 Richmond" one. Before she got her Learner's she never paid attention to roads so I think she just assumed everything was closer than it really is. Well, I wish she was right, How cool would it be if Richmond was between DC and Fredericksburg instead of the other way around.
I put a photo of Spongebob I took when he was on TV and it's in a frame, I love it and wanted to share my insanity with the readers. That reminds me, I have to get The Al to do her impression, SO CUTE! Speaking of cute, I have this adorable picture of her that makes me laugh whenever I look at it. Its from when she was like, 5 or so at her after school thing (or something, maybe she was younger) and they had a special program they put on and families were invited to it for Thanksgiving. Well, she's dressed up as an Indian and has a construction paper feather hat on thats too big and fallen over her eyes and is holding this little paper stuffed deer. And she has the cutest smile and that's the part that makes me laugh. And also bc I remember that my mom was working at the Flower Shop back then and had to go back to work and Ali got REALLLLLLY upset and was crying a lot bc she didn't want to leave with just me and Jesse. Aww, she was so sad and making such a scene. Wow, she's always been a pain in the neck;) Just kidding of course Ali.
Sorry if that was boring but it's a cute memory.
XO,
Scarlet
