This is my attempt to recreate a really great blog I lost last nite:

So, I finally checked my grades from last semester and I did really well. I finally have a GPA I can tell people, I haven't been able to do that since high school (4.0 thankyouverymuch). I'm a little surprised however but I guess I did well on my exams..rock and roll. This is the information I will use in my conversation with my mom tonite when I call up to let her know I plan on doing a lot of driving between the snow storm coming tomorrow and the snow in the forecast next week. Now, I know a lot of you will say, "Who care's what your mom says, You're almost 23." ::pause for mild heart attack:: Well, I do care and here are my reasons: 1) It's not really *my* car so if they want to worry about the miles being put on it then they can, 2) I'm not on my own financially so in my opinion that gives them the write to still have a slight say in what I do, 3) My mom worries about crazy things and the last thing I want is for her to worry and finally 4) Mom's are often correct. But as a result of the worry gene she passed on to me I often get worked up over something and then I tell her and she doesn't think it's a big deal at all. So I hope that's the case this time. Which I think it will....The snow will be gone by then, the whole east coast won't shut down for the weekend, ha. Speaking of which, why do people insist on stocking up on groceries for the slightest threat of snow like they're going to get stuck in their houses for weeks? Come on, puhlease. Stupid Southerners;)
